Where do you find your recipe's? I have to admit, I have fallen very dependent on the internet. When I need a recipe I simply do a Google search and randomly pick a recipe with decent star's.
That's how I happened upon this amazing brownie recipe. The recipe can be found at: allrecipes under the search: best brownies. Here's a link: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/10549/best-brownies/

Lastly, a Chocolate Tart. I made up a chocolate tart crust, baked it off and topped it with chocolate ganache once it was cool. This tart is amazing!
Excuse me why I go Celebrate what is likely my favorite National Holiday, National Chocolate Day.
It's National Oatmeal Monday. If you've been following my blog, you probably know. . for us it's going to be OVERNIGHT OATMEAL!
Here is the lineup for the week:
Peaches and Cream Overnight Oatmeal
Blueberries and Cream Overnight Oatmeal
And Peanut Butter, Banana Overnight Oatmeal.
Here's the idea:
You start with a bowl of 1/2 Cup Yogurt, 1/2 Cup Milk, 1/2 Cup Rolled Oats and 1 T Chia Seeds.
Then you add your desired flavors maybe: chopped peaches or blueberries.
If I'm making Peaches and Cream I use Vanilla Yogurt for the 1/2 Cup Yogurt.
This basic recipe is enough for one jar, I generally make 9 or so at a time (so 1/2 Cup x 9, you get the idea).
Let your imagination soar, make up some jars of overnight oatmeal today!
Do you smell the cheese, feel the moisture from the boiling noodles. . it's National Fettuccine Alfredo Day, lets Celebrate!
Few things compare to a large bowl of Fettuccine Alfredo. Do you pick some up from your local diner, make it yourself from scratch or cut open a few packages, reheat and serve?
This Alfredo is homemade. I start with a chopped onion and several cloves of garlic, once they are reduced I add a carton a heavy whipping cream, a stick of butter and about 3 cups of regular milk.
As the sauce reduces I roast chicken, mushrooms, steam broccoli and boil the noodles. Once the noodles are al-dente I toss them into the sauce. The broccoli, mushrooms and chicken join the party soon after. After adding a generous amount of pepper and garlic salt the mixture is piled into bowls and topped with a generous amount of Parmesan cheese.
Hold me back, I might have more then one bowl! Enjoy your National Fettuccine Alfredo Day Celebration Today!
What's your favorite fondue? Chocolate, Cheese. . both? I have never met a Fondue I haven't liked. I'm super excited to share the Fondue bar we had for my daughters 14th birthday with you!

As I reminisce I feel urge to construct another fondue party, who wants to come?
