This Alfredo is homemade. I start with a chopped onion and several cloves of garlic, once they are reduced I add a carton a heavy whipping cream, a stick of butter and about 3 cups of regular milk.
As the sauce reduces I roast chicken, mushrooms, steam broccoli and boil the noodles. Once the noodles are al-dente I toss them into the sauce. The broccoli, mushrooms and chicken join the party soon after. After adding a generous amount of pepper and garlic salt the mixture is piled into bowls and topped with a generous amount of Parmesan cheese.
