Today is National Apple Dumpling Day, I can't think of a better dessert in this cold weather.
For dessert today, I sent the girls with my version of a apple dumpling. Crisp apples coated with cinnamon, brown sugar and maple syrup layered between crispy layers of Puff Pastry. These little dumplings smelled so good baking on my 8½" round baking stone from Pampered Chef.
